Maderotherapy, also known as Wood Therapy, is a body treatment that combines manual massage techniques with specially designed wooden tools. Different shapes of wooden rollers and sculpting tools are used with controlled, rhythmic movements across selected areas of the body.
The pressure and techniques are adapted to your body and comfort throughout the treatment. Maderotherapy provides a more stimulating massage experience and can be particularly suited to clients looking for a body-focused treatment rather than a purely relaxing massage.
What can Maderotherapy help with?
Maderotherapy may help to:
- stimulate local circulation
- support lymphatic flow
- reduce the temporary feeling of puffiness or heaviness
- improve the appearance and feel of the skin
- provide a stimulating massage to selected areas of the body
- ease muscular tension in treated areas
- support an overall feeling of lightness and wellbeing
Maderotherapy should not be presented as a weight-loss treatment and results can vary between individuals.
